This short walk in Kattang Nature Reserve goes through shady coastal forest to Perpendicular Point, a 40m cliff surrounded by ocean on three sides. From the lookout you can see from Port Macquarie to Diamond Head and North Brother Mountain. It’s a good spot to watch whales and dolphins in season, and boronia and flannel flowers bloom along the track in early spring.
