Crescent Head Surfing Reserve

Crescent Head was declared a National Surfing Reserve in 2008, and surfers have been coming to its breaks for generations. It’s home to the Malibu Classic longboard contest, and the right-hand point is one of Australia’s best-known longboard waves. Next to the breaks there’s a kids’ playground and a boat ramp, and families can swim in the calm water of the creek. Little Nobby headland nearby has short scenic walks and good whale watching in winter.
