Goolawah National Park

Goolawah National Park is a narrow, largely undeveloped strip of coast running south from Crescent Head village to Racecourse Headland. It’s known for quiet beaches, rocky shores, reefs and a lagoon, with a well-known left-hand point break for surfers. Visitors come to snorkel, swim, fish and birdwatch, and to watch for whales from the headlands in season. Dolphins, turtles and koalas are also seen in the park, which has important Aboriginal cultural heritage.
